Diabetics at TGI Friday

If you're a diabetic, then you must be extra careful while dining at TGI Friday. Try the salad menu at TGI Friday to keep your sugar and sodium intake in check. Soups are great to keep you full and satisfied without munching on the unhealthy greased meat-based dishes on TGI Friday menu.

Foods to Avoid at TGI Friday for Diabetics:

Sugar and sodium intake are crucial if you have diabetes. While the salads are the best option for you at TGI Friday, it is recommended to avoid the Pecan-Crusted Chicken Salad containing over 1000 calories and 1,650mg sodium. Also, skip Warm Pretzels with Craft Beer-Cheese dipping sauce as it contains more than 3000mg sodium. It is wise to skip the dessert for diabetics, especially the Brownie Obsession topped with Vanilla ice cream, caramel sauce, and pecans.

Went here on Sunday and the waitress was very rude. We were going to order the endless apps but she said it was 12.00 per person. Since when we have eaten here numerous times and were never charged for 4 people. the 4 of us ordered dinners and we normally order 2 endless apps. I dont have a problem paying 24.00 for them but not 48.00. so we order none. I also read the the President of Fridays said that there is no policing of this. I could see if the 4 of us sat down ordered 4 waters and 1 app that that would be a problem but we all ordered dinners as well. Bad decision Fridays. If your going to have a promo then honor it

THREE STRIKES YOU ARE OUT!!!!!! Made the mistake of eating there today and what do you know instant stomach aches for me and my wife both. I wouldn't complain but this was the third time to the same restaurant in two weeks. Thought the first two times were a fluke but this trip. Confirmed it they are serving bad food we believe it might have been the spinach dip but we are not sure plus the service was slow at best.

Our time at this restaurant was not good! We unfortunately experienced hair in our food, a straw wrapper in our sangria, our drinks taking 10+ minutes, our server forgetting items, and came to our table not enough. Thanks to the manager who discounted our check and we still tipped over 20% to our server because we have been in that position before. The restaurant needs to focus on customer satisfaction and presentation. I hope other customers have a better experience than ours. For a corporate ran restaurant they are slacking immensely. Will not be returning to another TGI Fridays again.

I only go here for their bar. I love all of their bartenders, they make me feel at home every time I go.

One of the worst! Will not be going back to the TGIF's in Vero. After waiting 10-15 minutes for a waitress to even come to our table I ordered my favorite TGIF dinner, Bruschetta Chicken Pasta with balsamic glaze and Parmesan shavings! My husband had suggested TGIF's since he knows the Bruschette Chicken is one of my favorites. Our meals were brought to the table a short time later. Mine was a bowl of pasta with a little sauce and a few pieces of dry grilled chicken. No glaze and no Parmesan, two things that really make the dish! When our waitress finally stopped by I asked for some of the balsamic glaze and she informed me they were all out....... Would have been nice if she had mentioned that when I ordered. I told her I wouldn't have ordered it if I had known that the key ingredient was not going to be part of the dish. Sure didn't live up to the description on the menu or the meals I've enjoyed at other TGIF's. I would not recommend this location to anyone.

This was my first visit here and i was disappointed. The customer service was horrible, our waitress lacked when it came to drink refills and checking on us. Food was ok, but i had an issue with my dish not being cooked right and had to have it taken back twice and the outcome was the same. Because of that i did not get to eat my dinner. I may give the restaurant a try one more time but definitely will not be returning to this location.

I went there yesterday for the FSU game. Very friendly staff. My friends and I ordered the $10 appetizers and the waitress was so friendly and made sure we always had a good amount of food, and was very quick to make sure our drinks never emptied. Very clean restaurant and it was my first time in there since the redesign. Definitely makes the restaurant seem much bigger than it used to be and spotlights everything much better. Would definitely recommend this place and come back here for the service alone.

Got here at 11:20 am to beat the lunch rush. Got seated right away. Hostess forgot the high chair, no biggie since we know where they are located. Waiter is taking care of the party next to us, says he'll be right over. No one else to take care of. After 5 minutes and him walking by 3 times without even taking a drink/appetizer order we left. We'll take our business where they want our money.

We come here often. Last night was horrible. We had to wait over 20 min for our apps. We had to wait for drink refills the whole time. Had a 20% off coupon and waitress said could not be used because we had ordered the 10$ apps. I know we couldn't get 20% off that special but we had ordered other food that qualified. It says on the coupon not good towards other promotions and alcohol. She was very rude. Normally service is great as well as the food

Wow was I let down by the service. I enjoyed the food (I always do) but it took forever to get drink refills and felt ignored most of the time. I went in between lunch and dinner and there was hardly anyone there. No reason I should have had to wait for drinks, the bill, etc. I am sure I will keep going back, I really do like the food, but I hope the service improves in the future.

I went to this Friday's tonight with a couple of friends. I ordered the Parmesan crusted chicken with broccoli cheddar soup and a peanut butter chocolate pie. I washed it down with sweet tea. The tea and the service were decent (hence two stars), though the food wasn't. The broccoli cheddar soup was decent, though it came with a very small amount of cheese. The Parmesan crusted chicken is one of my favorite dishes. This time it came out burnt and dry. It had the consistency of jerky. The pie was okay, even with the strings of plastic that were in it.

This was one of the worst "meals" I've had since we moved to Florida. We arrive and wait 5-10 minutes before the server arrives. She's very friendly and I don't hold her entirely responsible for the low caliber of our meal...however it is 5-10 minutes before we're greeted. We give our drink order and she returns 10 minutes or so later to tell us that the bar is backed up (speaking from the perspective of a former bartender and server it didn't appear THAT busy)...so we wait. We get our drinks, she's apologetic (again...not her fault) and we place our food order. We get the Ahi Tuna Crisps, I order a wedge salad (to be delivered prior to the entree) and a 6 oz sirloin medium rare with the tomato salad and brown rice. The Ahi slices on the tortilla chips (Crisps) are very thin...and gobbed up with guacamole and "garnished" with full stalks of cilantro. I understand the attempt at tapas dining...but it failed...miserably. My entree arrived prior to my salad making it to the table, and when our server was informed, her response was that she was so sorry...she thought someone was going to run that for her. Unfortunately, on the receipt there's a notatio under my salad order... "**RUSH**" which tells me that she forgot and had to get the salad on the fly (something every cook LOVES to hear). So...my entree arrives, a few minutes later my salad arrives so the entree waits. Thankfully. Within a few minutes, I start on the entree. The meat was as tough as it could be, the brown rice was undercooked and "tossed" with sliced cranberries (horrible combination), the tomato salad tasted as though it had been made at least 24 hours prior to my receiving it...mushy tomatoes with poor seasoning. My companion's meal was OK...but I sent mine back. Upshot....three Coronas for me, two margaritas for him, wedge salad, Ahi tuna sample plate and one entree...over $66. Not again. Don't waste your money or your time.

Went to Fridays today because we had gift cards to use up from Christmas. What we hoped to be a promising night out was a bust. Though the food was tasty the service was deplorable. There was on waitress working the entire bar area. Rather then help her out the the Manager basically lounged against the bar. The waitress was running ragged and rather then bus the tables and bring the dirty dishes into the back she stacked them up on the backs of the booths between the tables. It was absolutely disgusting. Our food arrived, French Onion Soup, and two of their top end burgers. The soup was OK and the burgers were cooked decently and tasted good. My meal was supposed to come with onion rings - what came was so burnt they disintegrated on contact -I had to scrape it off to eat the burger. Both burgers were to come with Fries - well they split what looked like one serving between the two plates with the excuse, we will get you more they are just cooking now. They fries never came. Needless to say we are no longer asking for Fridays gift cards for x-mass. The health inspector should visit this restaurant.

Nothing special, but if you're in Vero Beach late at night this place is reliable. Again, not fancy, and if it is earlier in the day you should go elsewhere; however, TGI Friday's in Vero Beach stays open until 1:00am. That is both the kitchen and bar.

I'm sorry...the only thing they are consistent at is not doing a great job. I have dined at Friday's for more than half of my life...through all kinds of changes...and this by far is just way below standard. From service, staff turn over, food timing, to having menu items in stock...this place needs a major revamping. Part of it might be me adjusting to how complacent our society has become with mediocrity overall. Godspeed...maybe you'll get lucky. Oh and the only reasons we go back...my daughters favorite restaurant, the next closest one is 20 miles away and its the only "restaurant" in the mall.

Excellent. We were seated quickly, ordered drinks immediately, and had our apps out before too long. The server was nice, and the food was good. I had the cajun shrimp and chicken pasta. They have a lot of TVs in the bar area, but not spread throughout, so let the hostess know if you want to watch something while you eat.

The waitresses had no clue about customer service. They got both of our drink orders wrong, brought watered down beer, and didn't know what medium meant for a burger, only pink and no pink. WTF?! definitely going to Ruby Tuesday's next time.

May I suggest SAVE YOURSELF from a Big WASTE OF TIME AND $ Unless you want to pay ridiculous prices. Last time I was here. Probably about 2 years Ago. It was nice. Not A WOW experience. This visit was so bad. It was a Big JOKE:-(( We were sat at a booth by a really nice lady. The Server finally showed up. After looking thru an extensively Looong Menu. An another, drink menu. Just decided to order a Tropical Drink. A Hurricane( Not listed on another Big Menu Drink). Super easy to make Island Punch. The Server came bk an I informed her. Her reply was"OKKK THENNN..." Giving us a its about time look. And it's 2:30pm Wow going for a drink already. That was not professional. So we asked about a Gluten Free Menu. She said they had a Menu specially for Allergies. The largest Menu we'd ever seen. LOL 2/3 of their items had wheat, dairy, and well... Nuts. I'm ok w/Nuts. Edible and non-edible. Has long, has they have professional etiquette. Finally the Server shows up. Another 10 minutes later. No drink. No Ice Tea, or water. Did what I had not done in years. We got up left. We did complain to the Hostess by the door. She was apologetic. No manager in site. Frankly, didn't care. Just wanted out of there. We ended up at a near by Wendy's. That treated us very well. Drove back to Tampa to one of our favorite Restaurants. Moral of this info is. Don't Settle. Keep on Reviewing. Thanks,Yelpers.

I've been here twice since I moved to vero beach- the first time service was horrible but the food was ok- the second time the food was better and my waitress was perfect. My biggest beef with this restaurant is their booths !!! They are so close together that even a skinny person won't be able to get up after they eat! I have a big chest and I don't like to eat with my breasts literally sitting on the table smh!! My husband is heavier and he couldn't fit in the booth and that is humiliating !people come to eat at a restaurant so why is it set up for anorexic size people??? I'm very serious!!!! The two times I've been here the place was pretty empty and even empty the staff there like to play around rather than do their jobs I think his place needs new management . I'm from New York TGIF out there is on point with their employees and customers vero beach needs improvement

For what you are getting... reality check, knowing you are going to a chain restaurant, they did a bang up job. We were a group of four for a late lunch so we got seated and served quickly. Can't beat the everyday bogo rail drinks to start off your visit...all taps, mojitos, LIITs, and margaritas. We had Shock Top and and mojitos and weren't disappointed. Good pours! Meals... such good deals, for and extra fifty cents we got two part lunches... and it wasn't reduced portions, full apps and full entree with sides--$16! Melt in your mouth spinach dip, crunchy fake out green bean fries, "OMG" Dragon Salmon, sweet and citric jasmine rice, big hunka hunka steamed broccoli, and perfectly cooked burgers and steak.... one flaw, fries were too salty. But that's not why i deducted a whole star--it was because of the bathrooms. Please get some plumbers and electricians in there STAT! The toilet handle dribbles when you flush, and the lighting is dim and dingy. Overall, hold your pee and you're gonna leave totally satisfied with good ol TGI Fridays.

A fairly large Fridays. Service is friendly. the menu is typically what you'd Expect. This location is one of the older chains perhaps and it is attached to the Indian river mall. The burger dishes were decent. As well as the salad. The wings were also okay and sometimes you might get scary celery depending on the day. We enjoyed the flatbread appetizer there.

Like the other reviews 2 out of 5 is accurate to this Fridays location. When we walked in there where 4 sets of customers waiting to be seated with one walking away because there was no one to seat them. Once we where finally seated the waiter was at the table very sparingly only to take the food order I had to flange down another staff member to get drink refills and the manager brought the main course to the table.
